Terminal handling
The air cargo terminal's services and charges at origin.
Technical definition
The full set of cargo terminal/warehouse services: receiving, weighing, storage (including refrigerated), ULD build-up, screening and delivery to ramp. They generate charges by weight, time and service that show up on the terminal invoice.

Terminal handling covers the services the cargo terminal provides (receiving, storage, palletizing, cold) and the charges that come with them before your cargo flies.
How it works in Chile
In Chile, air cargo terminals (SCL, for example) bill storage and services worth auditing: per-kilo rates, per-day rates and perishable handling can vary and create discrepancies.
